Ladies Weekend Preview November 26th/27th
The 1sts take on Pembroke at 1700 in Serpentine avenue. Pembroke are currently in 9th position in the league, on 3 points from 5 games. The girls will be looking to build on their strong second half performance against Loreto last week. Heart a passion have evidently returned to the girls game, which stood to them in their battle last weekend. In 2010/11 the Glens had a win at home and a draw away against Pembroke, and will be looking to take wins from both meetings this season.
The 2nds take on Swords in Glenanne park at 13.15 on Saturday. Swords are in third position in the league 2 points below league leaders Glenanne. In the 2010/11 season the Glens won one and lost one against Swords. No doubt the 2nds will be looking to cement there grip on the leading spot and will throw everything at the game.
The 3rds take on Our Ladys away at 16.00. Our Ladys are currently top of the league with 14 points, the Glens just 4 points behind and will be looking to close the gap. in 2010/11 the Glens lost 3-2 to Our Ladies in the cup, but had their revenge in the league winning 2-0.
