Ladies 3rds V Loreto

Now Ciara has told me this has to be done for all ‘our supporters’ out there!!!! So here goes. On Saturday we had to play Loreto and lets just say it wasn’t pretty. The Loreto girls were very organised up front and for the first 15minutes this unsettled us and we fell into the trap of trying to change our game to suit theirs, which resulted in them scoring 3 very good goals from play. But eventually we got it together and got on the attack with Lucy scoring a lovely goal and Niamh Mc as per usual getting an amazing angle to leave the score 3-2 to Loreto at half time. We got a good talking to at half time from manager extraordinaire Dee, so we came out heads up for the second half. It must be said the second half was a bit more even but unfortunately we just couldn’t seem get another score. Loreto finally got one from a short corner leaving the full time score 4-2, this will be the girls first and if I have anything to do with it last lost of the season, losing sucks!!!! A big thanks to Alice, Nuala, and Siobhan for coming out to support us sorry we weren’t more impressive, mind you I have a fairly impressive black and blue arm from the experience.
