Ladies Seconds lose; but plenty of positives
A goal conceded to an organised Diocesan team in the 1st half led to an unfortunate loss for our 2nd’s.
Throughout the game Diocesan were fast on thebreak but the strength of our mid and defence held them at bay for most ofthe 2nd half.
Some great 1-2′s up the pitch provided lovely opportunities for levelling the score and kept the Diocesan defence under pressure.Despite the loss, there were plenty of encouraging plays and areas identified to work on.
A big thanks to a number of the 3rd’s for coming out and playing - especially with their own match afterwards – and to Trish for umpiring (andher 3 supporters!!!)
