Grunwald’s ‘Keano’ Critical
Grunwald Poznan’s version of Roy Keane has written a scathing write-up of EHL Round 1 in Eindhoven. The article, which appears on the teams page on ehlhockey.tv, criticises the conditions for supporters, saying there were no seats, no hot food and wet bench’s. The article goes on to suggest that Poland should be the next destination for the EHL, citing their desire to prove themselves and put on a show of the best European hockey tournament in front of their home fans.
The article may not mention the infamous “car park” training conditions or lack of balls, as witnessed in Saipan, but is critical of the tournament organisation none-the-less. Here’s hoping team and supporter conditions are far better in Terrassa this coming Friday!
